.... 'brat pack' of Dirty Realists, the grunge writers who reproduce the urban underside of life with every thrust of a fuck, every snort of a drug and every pocket of grime that coats our cities. They're young, articulate, and write novels that bluntly reflect the nihilism of the generation X-ers. They follow in the footsteps of the US grunge writers, inspired first by Bret Easton Ellis Less Than Zero, American Psycho. Barbara Walters' Interview With Christopher Reeves
443 Words - 2 Pages

.... way is that that has been passed along through my family. "If you can look yourself in the mirror and know without a doubt that what you did was right, then it was." Now old Irish sayings might not hold true to every person. However that could be a universal truth among those that are essentially ethical. There is no doubt in my mind that Barbara Walters is an ethical journalist, MOST of the time. However, in today's highly competitive world, where Nielson ratings are god, there is no longer a place for journalistic integrity in a profit based field. It is up to the journalist to determine whether or not they are comfortable with what they are doing and how they do it. ....

King Lear: Justice
2230 Words - 9 Pages

.... is a prime example of the Elizabethan conception of justice. Lear's kingdom turns to chaos because of a break in the "Great Chain of Being" and restores to order when justice prevails. Its tragic labelling stems from the prevalence of death the just punishment for many of its characters. The deaths of Lear, Goneril, and Edmund are prime examples of justice prevailing for evil, and in Lear's case unnatural, acts. Lear's ultimate fate is death. His early demise is a direct result of breaching the "Great Chain of Being" which states that no mortal will abandon his position in the hierarchy of ranking set by God.
