He was always able to convince that animals that what every they had done the do for the good of all the animals and not just for themselves. Just like when the pigs had taken the milk and apples for themselves, they said that they only took it was because they needed it and that if they did not have it they would not be able to help operate the farm, he also added that the pigs did not actually like the milk and apples but they had to eat it. They rest of the animals believed them because they did ....

.... the start, and yet every story and idea in the book flows right into the next. The sheer simplicity and ease of reading is a pro, but still it is very detailed in every way. Here's one thing though: if you didn't like the style of writing in his previous books, chances are not much will change your opinion on this book from your opinion on the last. The style of writing is very laid back, sort of a Sunday reader or one that you can pick up in the bathroom from time to time. I enjoyed reading this book so much the first time I had to read it again. The second time was even better than the first, because of all the new things I could understand. This authority causes a hindrance for Schlictmann in his attempt to find evidence against the companies. Later, Schlictmann himself falls victim to authority, and it causes severe problems for him and his team. Charlie Nesson's arrival at Schlictmann, Conway, and Crowley lifts everyone's spirits and gets everyone looking forward to a huge verdict in favor of the plaintiffs. Kumalo eventually learns to deal with this and while he is doing this, he makes a friend, James Jarvis, that changes the way he has looked on life. The tribal breakdown starts to show in book I, with the land that the tribe must use and how the people have used up the natural resources that used to lay there. The whites pushed them out of where they used to reside where the land is so good that it could be even referred to as “holy, being even as it came from the Creator.” (pg. 3). ....

Characters Hester Pyrnne- Hester is a beautiful young woman from England, whose husband still was thought to reside in Amsterdam at the beginning of the novel. She had come to the colonies alone, and he was to follow. Unfortunately, during this waiting period, she had become pregnant by another man, and the town's people have forced her to wear an “A” across her chest to signify her sin. She has a young child named Pearl who is her sole motivation in life. Hester is a strong, caring woman who made a poor decision early in life, and now pays dearly for it. Sam didn't want to but he had no choice if he didn't it would be unfair to his family and to Lassie. Sam then sold Lassie to The Duke. Climax After Lassie has been at the dukes for a while they ship him off to the Dukes other home in Scotland. Poor Lassie misses Joe so much he decides to go home. Lassie gets out of his cage and starts on the long journey home.
