You Must Have Rules To Be Free
354 Words - 2 Pages.... signs or lights.
Now here is another crazy example, imagine if students didn't have
to go to school. Well, remember the kid in 8th grade always saying "I hate
school", well I guess you'd never see him there. You're probably thinking
that not all kids would stay home, and I agree but the majority of kids
would stay home a lot because they didn't feel like going, probably causing
them to miss a lot of important information. Causing them to fail.
Finally, Think about a sporting event you compete in or participate.
What would it be without rules? It wouldn't be anything. People could
get hurt if certain rules missing. Ever try playing football or soccer

The Population Solution

years. How long, then, will it take for the world's population to weigh as much
as the entire planet? The answer is - not quite 1,600 years. This means that by
3550 AD, the human population would weight as much as the entire planet.... Even
if that were possible, it wouldn't give us much time. If the growth-rate stays
at 2.0 per cent, then in a little over 2,200 years - say, by 4220 AD - the human
populat i on would weigh as much as the entire Solar system, including the Sun...
and by about 6700 AD - the human population would weigh as much as the entire

Teen Pregnancy
833 Words - 4 Pages.... parents should have to give consent, or be notified, or neither. The arguments for and against this issue aare strong and depend mostly on the morals of those making the argument. To some teens it would be impossible to tell their parents they were pregnant let alone that they want an abortion. On the other hand teens sometimes act on imulse rather than giving such an emotional issue a lot of thought. If the parent were forced to give consent it would assure thet the decision had been given much thought. Though it could also rip a family apart. People react to unexpected situations in life very differently. Some teens think that if they were forced to get their paren ....

any everywhere by a consistent determined effort to repair any psychic, economic,
physical, or cultural damage done to Africans"(50). Liberation from what...the
white race? Molefi's statement is completely ludicrous; the first copy of his
book with this statement was printed in 1988, in my opinion blacks were fairly
liberated in 1988. Now the second part of his statement, repair what damage?
Any psychic damage which has been thrust upon the black race has not occurred
for quite some time: slavery...not in my lifetime nor separate bath ....

Answer America's Call
644 Words - 3 Pages.... could provide. The
strongest country in the world was the one with the most men. Then came guns,
then nuclear weapons, and finally computers. No longer do we need to send most
of our country's men off to fight. Rather we can just sit some of them down on
a computer and do just as much damage. With computers and the viruses that go
with them, people can destroy the economies of whole countries without wasting a
single American life. Countries can crumble with the push of a few simple
buttons on a keyboard.
But to understand all of this new technology requires a great deal of
knowledge. Not just anyone can sit at a computer and make a country crumble.
It takes an i ....

Although these are important factors they are not strong enough to make kids do things that are strongly against their morals.
One of the ways that kids morals are bent so that gang violence becomes more acceptable is the influence of television and movies. The average child spends ....
