supporters of continuing the illegalization of drugs believe that by legalizing
drugs they will become more accessible and use will therefore increase. They
base this argument on past experiment dealing with alcohol prohibition. After
the end of prohibition with the 21st amendment, alcohol consumption doubled
while prohibition decreased use by 50 percent(Light). They also cite that use
of marijuana peaked in 1979 when there was a decriminalization of drug use by

Crime And Punishment: Crimes, Who Solved Them, And Different Punishments

disputes which made up 90% of all crimes committed by the upper-class. In
Victorian England and like today there a two categories which crimes fall
under. "Indictable" which is the same as our felony crimes that make up

The fourth amendment of the United States Constitution states that “Unreasonable searches are forbidden. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause. . .” The idea of random drug testing is randomly choosing people at random times to check for traces of illegal substances in their system. The Death Penalty: A Necessary Evil

these same people believe that a cold blooded killer deserves the same life
sentence as a convicted kidnapper who did not kill his prisoner. Granted these
are both serious offenses, but our system of law works be degrees of seriousness.
The mental damage done to that prisoner can be turned around, but the life
taken away by the murderer can never be given back. They should therefore be
given a harsher punishment than life in prison. In terms of justice, we should
all get what we deserve.

Drink Up - Drunk Driving Should Be Legalized
