The US Economy Is In A Growth Spurt Beginning of Paper I believe that the US economy has entered a growth spurt. I base my beliefs on two articles that I read in my Berron's Financial Weekly. In the November 20, 1995 edition the article titled "Almost There: 5000", on page 28, was very enlightening. It begins by crediting the surge of 1 .... Middle of Paper .... power and profit "margins" because of the current disinflationary trends. He is also concerned with the continuing job losses because of downsizing, right sizing, and mergers. He believes that these things will "take their toll on employment and consumer purchasing power."
