Instore Help?
897 Words - 4 Pages.... adage ‘time is money’ has never been more true. Remember the same holds true for a consumer; "if you waste my time, I will not waste my money."
For the past couple of months I have been coping with an algae problem, in my home aquarium, known as greenwater. This is caused by too much light and too much organic matter on which the algae feed. It is not a threat to the fish but turns the water to a cloudy greenish haze in its first stages. Eventually it leads to a near total ‘green out’ of the aquarium obscuring even the fish. Although I had an idea as to how I might deal with this problem I decided to ask at the local fish store to see if some breakthrough product or ....

Existentialism
545 Words - 2 Pages.... is the way to achieve dignity as a human
being. Existentialists felt that adopting a social or political cause was
one way of giving purpose to a life. Sartre is well known for the "Theatre
engage" or Theatre 'commited', which is supposedly commited to social
and/or political action.
On of the major playwrights during this period was Jean-Paul Sartre.
Sartre had been imprisoned in Germany in 1940 but managed to escape, and
become one of the leaders of the Existential movement. Other popular
playwrights were Albert Camus, and Jean Anouilh. Just like Anouilh, Camus
accidentally became the spokesman for the French Underground when he wrote
his famous essay, "Le M ....

Mark Schaller's Study About Fame
1452 Words - 6 Pages.... of these people was Kurt Cobain, the lead singer and writer for a popular band called Nirvana. Another person was Cole Porter. Porter was one of the most famous songwriters in the United States in the early twentieth century. The third person was the fiction writer, John Cheever. Cheever obtained the Pulitzer Prize in 1978.
The reason Schaller chose these three people is that they all had self- destructive tendencies in the forms of drugs and alcohol and also had psychological problems sometime during their period of fame. Each of the three were also writers which was a vital part of Schaller's study. Schaller wanted to show that fame increased the self-consciousness in eac ....

Although this may be true, there are still many advantages to waste
management.
Today, more people are in favour of companies who invest in "green

Interracial Children

"What are you?" is one of the most commonly asked questions that biracial children have to answer to. Being unable to give a one race answer causes problems for both the child and whom ever they are talking to. Many people do not understand how someone can be two or more races. In their eyes you can only have one race. Since being biracial is not normal to them, they look down on these people. This kind of behavior can make growing up especially hard for children. In the past children were identified by the parent of color. If one parent were black, then the child's race was black also. Bu ....

pleasurable, it will eventually lead to happiness. Morality is important for
society as a whole, as it makes life livable. Now expanding on the happiness
theory, I will discuss the ideas of Aristotle. Aristotle believed that
happiness is the quality of whole human life. We all have misconceptions about
happiness. Most of us believe that happiness is experiencing a lively feeling
of joy or pleasant feelings. We can be happy at one moment, but not the next.
Aristotle on the other hand said that true happiness includes pleasures, joys,
and successes as well as many pains, griefs, and troubles in ones life. A happy
