shared with Taurus, and also known as beta Taurus.
Auriga's stars are fairly bright; five are second
magnitude or brighter. Alpha Auriga (Capella) is the sixth
brightness star, at a visual magnitude of 0.08. The star is
43.5 light years away, and is about ten times the size of
our Sun. Capella's visual magnitude is really the combined

Photochemical Smog
1695 Words - 7 Pages.... in December, 1952 when five days of calm foggy weather created a
toxic atmosphere that claimed about 4000 human lives. Today, the use of other
fossil fuels, nuclear power, and hydroelectricity instead of coal has greatly
reduced the occurrence of industrial smog. However, the burning of fossil fuels
like gasoline can create another atmospheric pollution problem known as
photochemical smog. Photochemical smog is a condition that develops when primary
pollutants (oxides of nitrogen and volatile organic compounds created from
fossil fuel combustion) interact under the influence of sunlight to produce a
mixture of hundreds of different and hazardous chemicals known as secon ....

Chimpanzee Versus Humans: Similarities & Differences
520 Words - 2 Pages.... skeleton. There are notable changes in the
spinal cord, pelvis bone and legs. The chimpanzee does have the ability to walk
upright and does, but it spends most of the time walking on four limbs. It uses
it’s arms as it’s front legs and walks on it’s knuckles. Our brain capacity is
about twice as large as that of the chimp. Humans have a brain capacity of 1300
to 1500 cc, while the chimps are about 600 - 800 cc. It is though by scientists
that our brain size grew over time as were evolved into making complex tools and
we became increasingly sophisticated. The human skull is slightly different
from that of our primate ancestors, these changes occurred over ....

Enuresis
1070 Words - 4 Pages.... is a common problem. It is estimated that there are five to
seven million children in the United States who have NE. Many children have no lasting
problems from bed-wetting, however, some children who wet the bed can develop
psychological problems, including low self-esteem. This disorder also affects family
members through anger and frustration because of the condition.
One important reminder to parents with children who suffer from this condition is
that bed-wetting should not be thought of as a behavioral problem. There is no medical

Forests Cannot Absorb CO2 Emissions

back on CO2 emissions and not relying that much on forests around the world.
A climate change not only threatens to destroy forests, but as these
forests die back they will trigger the release of vast quantities of carbon
dioxide stored in vegetation and forest soils. This will add further to
the climate change problem. Experts hope that this new way to cut back on
these CO2 emissions will not be costly and time consuming.
Dry air is made up of about 78 percent nitrogen and 21 percent
oxygen. For living things, the two most important gases are oxygen and
carbon dioxide. All plants and animals in ....
