Presidential Debate `96
386 Words - 2 Pages.... about straight answers in the beginning,
but towards the end, the candidates were repeating themselves because the
questions began to lose focus and seemed to overlap enough to cause an
answer similar to if not the same as an earlier one. I do admit, though,
that the questions did attack key points and some answers that were given
did seriously cause some thought not to where the vote is going, but where

topic not seriously touched was scandals such as Watergate, etc.
The debate was key in helping me decide a now important part of my
life. I have decided that I am a Democrat. I found most of what C ....

Rae, We Pray For You

Yet, something was happening to Rae Carruth. Obviously, he was not happy with his life at that point. Still, murder is not exactly a sensible action, not even as a last resort to most who have their wits about them. It seemed as though Carruth felt that he had no other choice. He seemed to take the classic, “I don’t like you, so I’ll beat you up,” mantra of the playgrounds to a much harsher end in this case. With Carruth you must question many things about him, his sanity, his maturity, his intelligence, and a ....

Affirmitive Action

and expectations imposed on them by businesses and educational institutions due
to the cries of racism and sexism in standards by advocates of AA. Ernest Van
Den Haag put it best, when he declares that. " Affirmative action has done as
much injury to black scholars as to black students." Isn't it time to return to
hiring people on individual merit, and return the millions spent on Affirmative
action. That money could be better spent on bringing minority and female
applicants up to standards. I believe the most qualified person should be
awarded the job, regardless of race, ethnicity, or ....
