.... Hoffman plays this character well. It seems like he has this blank look on his face throughout the whole film. This was one of my two favorite films he did. The second film I watched was “Little Big Man.” It was hard for me to really look at Hoffman's performance because I didn't like his character. At first I thought that the producer of that film had casted the wrong actor but after watching more of the film I changed my mind.
