Police Brutality
722 Words - 3 Pages.... use of excessive force may or may not be large problem, but it should be
looked into by both the police and the public.
For those people who feel racism is not a factor in causing the use of
excessive force, here is a startling fact. In Tampa Bay, Florida, five men died
while in the custody of the Tampa Bay police Department (C.C. 27). The thing is,
the Tampa Bay Police Department is made up of mostly white officers, but of the
five men who died, none where white. Four of the five men that died where
African Americans, and the other man was a Mexican National.
If the incident in Tampa Bay does not show a person racism, this event

Euthanasia And The Robert Latimer Case
1021 Words - 4 Pages.... the Robert Latimer case, as in many other cases of euthanasia, it can never
be proven whether or not Latimer killed his young daughter Tracy to ‘save' her,
or to save himself. While I have never experienced living with someone who is
severely disabled, I have had the chance to discuss the issue with many friends
and associates. From what I have learned, it is, indeed, an extremely tough
matter to deal with. While no-one I have spoken to has been suicidal over the
matter, they have seen the true pain and misery that some severely disabled
individuals are forced to deal with every day of their lives. Still, many agree
with myself on the point that a human life is just ....

increase one's muscle level, making them stronger, faster etc. These drugs
are said to give the athlete an unfair advantage over the others. Any
ruling based on the use of performance-enhancing drugs is justified, but
since marijuana has little or no effect on an athlete's performance, and it
would not give him an advantage over other athletes, a ruling based on the
use of marijuana isn't necessary. In addition to this, many doctors have
stated that marijuana gives the athlete a disadvantage over others because
it could make that athlete tired, or weak.
Rebagliati's urine test showed trace amoun ....

rape, or root hairs are all available for analysis. Although other body tissues
such as skin cells and saliva can provide genetic information about a person for
Forensic Science purposes, blood is the most useful source of inherited traits.
