Alanis Morissette
413 Words - 2 Pages.... a list of reasons to be grateful. Alanis here expresses gratitude for insights and peace of mind gained from her stay in India but she admits there are still a few things she needs. “Are You Still Mad” is a languid rock beat track framing a list of reasons why a former boyfriend might be peeved. However I found this track to be childish and senseless, as its lyrics are not up to the standards of the rest of the album. She sings. “Are you still mad that I flirted wildly? Are you still mad I had a tendency to mother you? Are you still mad that I had one foot out the door? Are you still mad that we slept together even after we had ended it?”

Nigeria And Ogoni's Campaign
1636 Words - 6 Pages.... resulted in extreme tension in the area and the severe punishment of the community. Shell has been operating in the Niger Delta since 1958. In its thirty-six years of operations, rather than setting standards and promoting a positive relationship with local people, as well as sound environmental and social policies, the company seemingly has done little. The importance of Nigeria's oil to Shell cannot be underestimated, accounting for almost 14% of the company's production which equates to the greatest production outside of the USA. Therefore, both Shell and the Nigerian government have an interest in maintaining the status quo and continuing with business as usual.

Bladerunner 2
1020 Words - 4 Pages.... mysterious and unpredictable as in the opening shots. The feeling of ascension is very stong in the scene. The music, aided by the camera's slow tilt upwards, creates the allusion that Deckard is traveling higher, rising up towards heaven perhaps, as this later ties in with Tyrell being a God-like figure.
Once Deckard is inside, the loud dynamic music changes to the sound of windchimes. The soft ringing sounds are a contrast to the music that is heard as he is approaching. This change in sound is also a contrast to the noise and bustle of the streets, which represents the masses. It enforces the idea that Eldon Tyrell and his corporation are powerful, that they are physically ....

Swan Lake Vs. Revelations

Revelations had a very plain set. This seemed to put more of a focus on the dancers instead of the atmosphere on stage. The backdrop was just a dark cloth with no pattern or picture. The lighting covered the entire stage when many dancers were performing at the same time. When soloists performed, a spotlight was focused on them to draw all the attention to the dance.
