Throughout her childhood she is a tmid , poor little girl who is afraid to even ask her mother questions about what is going on around her . He gets Cyrano to write poems for him and making him a perfect match for Roxanne, both handsome and intelligent. But in his heart he knows that Roxanne truly loves Cyrano if she finds out the truth. She does this by using a couple different characters throughout the story. The main ones she uses are the parents, and that is the very obvious example. A few other examples are not as clear, but they do show how decisions are an important factor in life and once made are very hard to turn around. Using Paul's brother Anthony, Schwartz shows that once he made the decision to join the Hare Krishnas there was no turning back, even if that meant not communicating with his parents anymore. Many individuals will say that resurrection is another word for being "Recalled to Life," as in the title of book one. Being "Recalled to Life," can be shown on a mental, physical, and spiritual level, just the same as resurrection. Dickens gives the reader a taste of being "Recalled to Life," right off the bat, when Mr. Lorry, in his stagecoach, is set out for Dover to bring Dr. Manette back to England, sends Jerry Cruncher to Tellson's Bank with the message, "Recalled to Life." Then as the coach lurches on towards its destination, he falls asleep an ....

This seems to be the only escape for the Puritans in the novel. This is the only place where the people can be free from Puritan law and code. It is here, in the forest that Dimmesdale can express his deep love for Hester and where she can do the same for him. The forest is a place where freedom can be established. Here, nobody watches to report misbehavior, as they do in the settlement. Here, people may do as they wish. Hechard’s life is in a rather bad point but things start looking up when he sells Susan, it is at this point that he moves into spring. We are told little of what happens between Susan’s sale and when she comes looking for him but I would say that during this period Henchard passes through spring as he gives up liquor and moves into summer when he becomes mayor.
