Of All People, I Survived
1897 Words - 7 Pages.... I survived. I was the second oldest of two siblings, Zareh, my elder brother of 14, and my young sister of five, Rebecca. My father was well known as the true, honest, and rich merchant of Sivas, our hometown in Anatolia. His name was Harouti Agas.
In one of the side streets of Sivas was our house, where I lived with my family. Our house was the best structured on the street. It was a house the right size to fit us all in. Advice I Often Receive From Parents
351 Words - 2 Pages.... kids have to live up to expectations that they can't
attain, or do something that they don't really enjoy in order to make their
parents proud.
The problem with saying "as long as you do you best" is that when I know
I could have done a better job, I have a sort of guilty feeling. I hate it
when I get a mediocre mark or fail in something and my parents say "as long
as you tried your hardest." It gets quite annoying when I second guess
myself about what I could have done. However, when I know I did the work
as well as I could and it isn't a good mark, I don't worry about it as much
as some people might.

Creative Writing: A Medical Experience

harder it became to breath. So, realizing the fact that her doctor was probably
asleep, she did the next logical step, she called her daughter, who lives in
another state. The daughter realized that her mother needed more help than she
could give over the phone, tried to persuade the mother to call an ambulance,

My Freshman Experience At The University Of Alabama
