cheeks showed through his dry, pale skin making him look like a zombie.
"Let's go now!!" Claire screeched at the top of her lungs.
Claire meant this time. Quickly, Joe stumbled out of the dressing room

Personal Writing: Learning About Myself
802 Words - 3 Pages.... I didn't really plan on climbing the mountain. My family
thought I was joking when I said that I was going to do it. Maybe I was.
I still do not know. Something about myself that I have learned is that
sometimes you do not know what to expect of me. I like to be spontaneous,
and I like a lot of excitement. My family can never tell what I am going
to do. That afternoon they might have been wondering exactly what they
should expect.
I did not want to go to the top of the mountain. It would take a
long time, and we wanted to go shopping and head back to our cabin before
it got too late. I walked into the woods and soon I was beside a lake
totally enveloped in fog. ....

Creative Story: Mischels Greenhouse
459 Words - 2 Pages.... up and put them on a rack 5x5 and then
shrink wrap them. Shrink-wrapping was mainly my job throughout the day. I
would load an 8 foot tall rack then I would wrap the rack full of mums so the
mums would not fall off. Then I would take the palette jack and pick up therack,
and load it into the Ford truck. Loading is hard because I have to make sure
they go all the way to the back and to the side of the truck. It can't be one
inch off otherwise it could hurt the plants (They could rub together) and the
racks wouldn't fit side by side. It's a endless cycle, day after day, until
all the mums are gone. When the mums are all gone, it's a glorious feel of
relief. All the be ....

so they did not have a lot to drink.
Men would work all day for fifty cents, and for their meals. Also,
a lot of men had to use the Workers Progress Association to get enough
money for them and their families to survive.
Cars in the 1930's were much different than the cars today. Hand
cranks were replaced with electric starters. Heaters were factory
installed to replace mainfold heaters that were available for owner
installation. Those who did not have heaters put hot coals under their car
to get the oil warm before they went into town. In the 30's larger tires
with safety tubes were developed, and carried less air pressure compared t ....

Personal Writing: The Pond

Nerve-wracking minutes later, flowed the emerald green and ever-so lively

distinct fragrance enticed us. It smelled like mother-nature herself, with
aromas ranging from wildlife and wet grass, to evaporated swamp water and
healthy dirt.
Then, the time for us to find the desired vessel arrived. We chose
the kayaks, and set out for the water. Carefully, with our torn-jeans
rolled up, and shirts off, we dragged the massive thing over the slope of
grass and mud into the sh ....
