transportation because the buses hardly ever come, it's far away from
everything, and the weather is terrible. The buses come every hour on
weekdays and only three times on Sundays. I have complained before, but
they don't care to what I have to say. Even when the buses come they are
always late because the routes are convoluted. It takes hours to get
anywhere. The closest commercial area to my house is Park Royal and that
is a two hour walk away. There are no small stores and if I want milk, the
closest store is in North Vancouver, would you believe. I guess they
expect everyone to be so rich, so they can afford ....

the groundwater dissolved all my bones. They were then replaced, a molecule at
a time, by the minerals in the water. This long process involved all these
tingly sensations. I felt odd for the longest time, but now I'm a new me!

thought they were good because of the grades I got. Now, I find myself working
over twice as hard for half the grade.
This isn't a completely bad thing, though. It teaches me that my writing really
wasn't very good. What I used to think deserved an "A" I now realize only does
deserve a "C." Now I have to take my writing more seriously, and try much
harder at producing good output. Also, my goal isn't to write a paper that will
get a good grade. Now, my goal is to write better papers. I write to become a
better writer.
That is, I feel, a very important thing that I learned this semester. I don't
think, "O.K., I have to get at l ....
