Movie Analysis: Species And Species II
389 Words - 2 Pages.... in.
She goes around the city trying to reproduce while the agents try
to stop her. The acting is pretty good, especially at the death scenes.
The scenery looks like a real city, but it was shot in the country of
Montana. (Country meaning no cities, not a whole new country.) The camera
panning and zooming is very good, and the sound effects are right on cue.
Species set the standard for movies like SPECIES II, and it is a
really good movie. It actually gets funny, and except for one guy, the
acting is very well done. The only problem is that somewhere in the
Chicago city (where it was supposed to be based) they found a cave,
complete with stalectytes. It also contain ....

Artists Of The Harlem Renaissance And Lost Generation
957 Words - 4 Pages.... pre-war land and values to move abroad and adapt a new culture and morals.
The black artists of the post WWI era did not conform to mainstream society or even “regular” black society. Instead they formed their own culture aside the mainstream and the movement was dubbed the Harlem Renaissance. It was truly a coming together of black, and to some extent white, cultural figures. There was little outside influence on the Renaissance. Neither big industry, with their endless promotions to lure customers, nor the anti-prohibition, or speakeasy culture, that characterized the roaring ‘20s affected the diverse Harlem culture. Langston Hughes was a very prominent writer du ....

Insanity In Macbeth

advice from them. His mind has grown to the point where now nothing is
impossible.
Another instance is when he is able to see Banquo's ghost and also
when he talks to it. When MacBeth sees the ghost and when MacBeth talks he
already has crossed over to insanity. MacBeth talks to a figment of his
imagination which his mind has made. These means that his mind is not
healthy. He is unable to separate reality from a hallucination. His reality
is that he is still sane even though he has the ability to see ghost. His
mind has already gone mad and he cannot control it .He is not able to
separate what is real from
what is reality. ....

Othello: Shakespeare's Most Tragic Play
518 Words - 2 Pages.... He shows disrespect
to Desdemona in front of other people. “'Devil' he strikes her ‘I have not
deserved this.'” (141). Othello changes even more dramatically because of the
poison suggestions that Iago has given him. He goes out of control and
eventually kills Desdemona thinking that she has did something wrong.
Othello has many tragic flaws. He is a really gullible person, for
example he was tricked by Iago; thinking that Desdemona was really having an
affair with Cassio. “ ` Did he confess it?'” (134). He trusts Iago too much
and totally relies on Iago therefore making him really vulnerable to Iago's
evilish schemes. Othello's gullibility causes him ....

Nature’s Significance In King Lear
1563 Words - 6 Pages.... introduced by Cordelia in the very beginning of the play. When Lear asks Cordelia to tell him how much she loves him, Cordelia responds by saying that she loves him “according to my bond.” (1.1.102) Cordelia means that her love for her father is based upon the law of nature and involves the clearest recognition of her filial obligations. It is this very law which Lear himself depends on when he expects to be revered and obeyed both as a king and as a father by all his daughters. Shakespeare demonstrate this idea when he points out that at a later point in the play, after Lear was treated horribly by Goneril, Lear express his conviction that Regan, unlike Goneril, kno ....

Macbeth: Corruption
696 Words - 3 Pages.... or stealing. With these in mind anybody in power could become a powerful
foe.
The reason why corruption has become a problem is because it's fair to become
greedy for more. And soon it gets out of control and now you have a corrupted
person who in order to change would have to step out of power and become a
person who doesn't control.
Nothing can really be done to sustain it or avoid it, if you take a corrupt
person in power and replace a fair and just person. Sooner or later they also
become corrupt. You just have to assume and hope the replacement will be a fair
person.
In the tradgity "Macbeth" there are many examples of corruption. When Macbeth
became Thane of Cowdor ....

Movie: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
1038 Words - 4 Pages.... allow this. He didn't want his son to be a ‘trained monkey, on
tour around Europe performing tricks like a circus'. Salieri prayed to God and
what he considered a miracle happened: his father dies and he was able to pursue
his musical studies. He eventually became a popular musician and teacher in the
Emperor's court. When he heard Mozart was coming to Vienna from Salzburg, he
eagerly sought him out. He finally found him at a party, way from the other
guests, acting like a silly animal, chasing a young woman. However, as soon as
he heard his music starting without him, he changed into a serious musician,
rushing to take his place as conductor. Salieri noticed that Mozart ....
